An assault at the intersection of Cordell and Norfolk Avenues early Friday morning left the victim unconscious, according to a tip I received. Here's a roundup of crimes reported across Bethesda on July 15, according to crime data:

Assault. Cordell Avenue at Norfolk Avenue.

Weapon arrest. 8000 block Norfolk Avenue.

Theft. 7000 block Arlington Road.
