SIGNS OF THE FUTURE (AND THE HOLIDAYS) AT WESTFIELD MONTGOMERY MALL IN BETHESDA (PHOTOS)

The permanent indoor ArcLight Cinemas sign has been installed near the escalator that will transport patrons from the Dining Terrace floor up to the 16-screen cineplex starting November 4. Also announcing its near-future arrival in the Dining Terrace is Chipotle.

In Sears, meanwhile, it's beginning to look a lot like Christmas, with one of the most unique decorations I've seen in years - a Christmas-themed Darth Vader. The price tag is mighty steep at $199.99. I'm expecting a working lightsaber for that amount.

Come on Westfields, you can be more creative than that, can't you? Qdoba and Chipotle are the same exact kind of restaurant! Just spelled differently.

Still, it's a step up from Taco Bell.
